That's an interesting thought, but he'd have to gain a ton of weight and who knows what that would do to his game?

I've had that same sort of idea/"what if?" kind of thought with some of the big 6'4" 230 lb strong safeties that have came out over the last few years. Seems like if they could put on 10-20 lbs and spend season or two on special teams while they learn to play OLB they could be very valuable covering TEs...

I like 6' 4" 230 for a 4-3 OLB...I like 6' 4" 240 even better...now 250 and you have to be pretty special to carry that weight and cover.

The addition of Myron Lewis today further clouds the DB picture. I see him moving to safety for us, as I think that suites his skill-set much better. Maybe he can fill that #4 safety spot for us and send Spievey down the road?
