to be honest thats kinda what i thought was going to happen anyway.Plus between the way lou didnt really seem to excited about these types of deals and being back on the horse trying to work a new contract already i wouldnt put it past him to have been making a point.

If they have 2 years of dead weight at the end instead of 5 years, it would probably be accepted. They will get it done and the cap hit will go to something like $6.7 v. $6.0

cant say for certain.but at this point i think they should void pronger and hossa's contracts take the cup from chicago disqualify both teams and let the habs and sharks play for the cup just so i can watch some damn hockey.but thats the withdrawl talking lol.

i will seriously laugh my fucking ass off if the devils somehow pull of a miracle and still land kovy for a 6 mil cap hit.

i wouldn't be shocked per say as i think if in the last deal if you took a couple mil and spread it towards those last couple bogus years it would have been let through but still after all that i as well as everyone else i'm sure thought that cap hit was gonna push 7.5-8

This is disgusting. They either have ruled it circumvention or not, they're not still analyzing this thing. It can't be that complicated. Maybe they will reject at 5Pm and then be unavailable for comment until tomorrow morning.

its the nhl vs. nhlpa.
the nhl is afraid of donald fehr.
they want to reject this deal and have spent 5 days looking for a way to do so, but the structure is much better than that in hossas, louongos, and prongers deals and kovy has a no mo...vement clause for his whole career so he can't be sent to the minors or traded the devils are stuck with the hit unless he retires.
this is the nhl being scared that if they reject it and go to arbitration again, fehr will whoop their ass in court and they will lose all the power they just gained

its in tgs blog theres a blog cant remember if its the one about clarkson getting married and riding with lance armstrong or the one before it he says something along the lines of the nhlpa called but he was out.not sure if thats his way of saying no comment or if he reall just missed the calls
