I know, Utah actually shot the ball decent tonight though.

Everyone except Rubio and Crowder.

Obviously Donovan took the most shots.

But, I think he was at 50%.

Rubio took 18 and Crowder 10.

Ricky hit 5 and Jae 3.

You can't win if 2 of your top 3 shot takers are at 30%.

Yeah but their defense didn't play like a top defense. They're top 5 in most major defensive statistics. I think OKC barely cracks 100 in game 2 and win a close one

No, that's not all that matters. There is still plenty of game left - and when RW feels like another player is upstaging him he tends to go off the rails with his iso & put his team at risk of losing. That is what he does regularly. Honestly, I hope OKC wins this series though. OKC is a better match up than Utah for GS.

You need to root for whichever team has a better chance of taking down Houston, the winner of this series plays them next.

Yeah Utah IMO. They defend better & Gobert can win the battle against Capella easily.

But they defend better than OKC by a longshot. What does it matter if you score 120 if you let the other team score 130? With defense at least you have a shot.

He had a really good Season a few years back, got a fat contract and disappeared until now.

I'm guessing it's a contract year or it will be soon.

I never said their defense is bad. OKC's problem is they're not consistent on defense, which will allow any team they play in the playoffs a chance to beat them.

You're right. It means squat. Teams usually play with more intensity in the playoffs so I would assume OKC defense will be better in the playoffs than regular season.

I hope so. Not sure if their defense intensified last night or if the Jazz were just anxious & beat themselves. Gotta think Utah can get it together & have a better showing in game 2.

that's what i was thinking. Utah imo is definitely better than they played last game...
