Not sure what the Cavs expectations were but they made it farther than last season and they had some injuries. The series vs the Celtics could have gone 6.....maaaaaaaybe 7 with Allen.
Be interesting to see who they replace him with.
Celtics to the “finals” and who is coming out of the west?
unless it is LA NY or maybe one or two other cities- they love to have the hot take and try and tear a team down.
If healthy I think the Cavs def. would have pushed this to 6 against the team many thought is/was the favorite to win the title.
but i do agree that Garland and Mitchell together is not ideal- and if there is Mitchell re-signs then trade Garland--- if Mitchell wants to leave--- trade him and keep Garland.
Could've seen this coming when they traded for Mitchell. It's an upgraded version of the Garland/Sexton backcourt, but still not an ideal fit if for slightly different reasons.
What they really need is a scoring 3 in trade for Mitchell, who has one available for a trade? BI could work if he was healthy more often. Suns don't want to move Durant. He'd make sense with the Spurs, but for who? Nets don't want to move Bridges.
Keldon and 8
Keldon only gets you half way there for salary, but the Spurs could absorb the difference. Might take 4 and 8 (if they want picks in this year's draft).
Keldon is a bit meh IMO, but maybe.
I’d assume Brahman and/Wesley also go to CavsKeldon only gets you half way there for salary, but the Spurs could absorb the difference. Might take 4 and 8 (if they want picks in this year's draft).

That works but do you think Mitchell really wants to go to a rebuilding situation?Keldon and 8

My bad.I assumed this was garland
A scoring 3 in a Garland trade. Mitchell handled being more of a PG when Garland was out with his face injury and. He did a great job. Adding stronger depth at the PG position is needed too. Ingram makes too much sense but he will want max, injuries, etc. IDKCould've seen this coming when they traded for Mitchell.
