2nd MBBRL dynasty league

Looking to start a new dynasty league or maybe expand the current league if thats what the current leagues members want. Figured i would see if any current MBBRL owners that aren't in the original dynasty want in or are at least thinking about it before i start recruiting.

I am against expansion. 14 teams is a large amount. Adding any more to one league IMO wouldn't be fun.

Having a second dynasty league to compare to would be great though. Hopefully enough active owners are found.

This ^^^^^ - expansion, in order to be fair, would create a start over situation and I don't think anyone would be in favor of that.

Oh, I dunno...I could go down in history as the one and only champion of the very first MBBRL dynasty, never dethroned, won every year. ...we can omit the part where we only went one season

Seriously though. .expanding is a no go for me. I had a hard 14 team or under cap in order for me to be interested enough to make that commitment. Wasn't interested in more than 14 then, definitely not interested now when it would create a very messy expansion draft on top of my previous objections

Expansion in dynasty gets too complex if you try to do anything except restart the whole thing.
We've tried on several occasions to expand a keeper from 10 to 12 teams, but never get majority vote for a complete redo. Too much time/effort has been put into it for a restart.

I think every dynasty should have expansion and contraction rules put into place whether owners want to expand or not...

I am never opposed to having more owners in a league...

A new league is great doesn't change anything in ours

This is off topic just a bit but I would vote for the "next big thing" to develop in MBBRL is an IDP league. I think it would be the natural course to take, many of you would find it to be a new an exciting challenge like I did and a whole new way of looking at fantasy football from the other side of the ball. Plus it would really help me gauge my IDP money leagues cause it would be great to see how you guys work these players.

As to Foot's IDP idea, also sounds great, and had I not already been in this one, I'd do that too..but I'm tapped out. Best of luck to getting that going Foot

gonna side with Treff on the IDP - since I just added a money league in the suicide format with some friends, probably would be stretched a little to be as active as I'd like in a dynasty, but no way would I have the time to add an IDP in 2016.

Maybe next year.

My next true conquest will be super flex. Probably 2 years away from trying one of those for money though.
Gonna start pushing for more auction drafts over snake as well, so you can really target and get the guys you want, depending on your strategy.

I agree with the others about expansion, imo 14 teams in a football league is plenty.

However, I love the idea of a second league. And the lineup of guys you have posted here is outstanding.

Haha, I've been intrigued by the Super Flex thing since last year. I'd love to try one.

excellent point to consider - that was one of the reasons why I was leaning super flex over 2 QB format, but again, this is next season that I'm looking at. Only thing I haven't changed my mind on in my life (so far) is my wife, hahaha.
