Better buy stock in hotdog vending businesses in Vancouver.

Maybe the Canucks can lure Hagelin out of retirement and they could sign Bonino.

And then the HOFGMJR circle is complete.

How much more shit are the Leafs going to throw at the wall before something sticks?
I’m much happier with nothing deals like this rather than moving any of their few blue chip prospects or first round picks (keep in mind they don’t have one in 25).

They’ve made big deadline moves every year. They did nothing with them. Maybe it’s best to get some depth pieces and tell the big boys to actually get it done instead of rewarding them every year to watch them mail it in in April/May.

If the only other move here is someone like Trenin or Greenway to shore up the bottom six I’m fine with it.

Trenin would be nice to have for a playoff run. Bet a few teams would be in on that.

Unless someone offers Trotz something stupid, I dont think Trenin goes anywhere.

He absolutely would be a good add for any playoff team. Tough physical player with not much offense. Wins the puck battles and does not take dumb penalties. And stays healthy. Just what you want for a fourth liner for a deep run.

Trotz wants his guy in Nashville.

NOTE: I am surprised the Canes didn't trade for him since he essentially made a career killing the Rags/Flyers.

Not if they trade Alex Nylander's brother for Boone Jenner.

So if doesn't get moved and they don't resign him, this is complete failure.
