Conroy needs to do what's best for the Flames, not best for Hanifin. That said, if Tampa really wants Hanifin, they need to put a 1st round pick that's not lottery protected on the table. Otherwise, Hanifin should be dealt to a team as a rental.

Conroy needs to do what's best for the Flames, not best for Hanifin. That said, if Tampa really wants Hanifin, they need to put a 1st round pick that's not lottery protected on the table. Otherwise, Hanifin should be dealt to a team as a rental.

Heard Boston was also in the mix for Hanifin. Maybe if Lindholm doesnt work out they go that direction

Also reports that Crosby doesn't want Guentzel traded and wants to win with him.
Granted he has to say that. Honestly I never heard many reports prior about Crosby having any control over who is or isn't on the roster. So I take that report with a grain of salt.
