Yeah a lot of prospects to fill the void that this team hasn’t had for years. Still surprised they didn’t get the guaranteed 1st but instead landed most likely two more players in the deal.

I would have liked Morrow per initial reports but oh well.

Well done Allvin
Yeah because I would have liked the prospects from Vancouver more. :)

As for the Penguins something has to give....most likely Rust to LTIR but maybe wishful thinking more moves are coming.

Cruz Lucuis is a great WWE wrestler name.
I imagine him looking like this:

Yup, he's going to go down in the annals of great Pittsburgh grapplers like Bruno Sammartino and Kurt Angle.

Canucks werent going to give up any of the swedish 3 which pleases me lol

This is an interesting “equivalency” to the assets pens got from the Canes. I would say garland is more equivalent to Bunting in age and cost. Hoglander would have more value because hes much younger and far cheaper.

I dont think i do this deal at this stage (even with garland in place of hoglander)

/ Canucks would also be giving up way too many guys with umlauts in their surnames

^ I am now officially rooting for the Canes to get to the finals. So whatever it takes I will make sure it works. :D

I think I remember reading Kuzy is due a $2 million signing bonus in the off-season. Pretty sure the Canes would be on the hook for the entire amount of that bonus.

Looking at cap friendly they have the space under the cap to roster Kuzy at 3 million vs the original 6 million.
