They have legit talent. There is a reason they were ranked for the first few weeks of the season. Apparently going 31-3 just isn't enough to keep them ranked.

It's valid though. All of their wins are over QUAD 3 and QUAD 4 competition. Their strength of schedule is 320. It's unfair towards other teams who play steeper competition.

But I agree about this particular game. Wisconsin a 5 seed? On what planet? This is a 8 vs 9 in disguise.

Now, James Madison seems like a program who wants to challenge themselves. They're legit in football too. When the next conference realignment wave comes, I believe they will step up in competition.

Part of what is supposed to be analyzed is who a team recruits. James Madisons recruiting class is what made them a ranked team early. This isn't ball St or some other nonsense where a team comes out of nowhere by beating nobody's. This team was well known and for some reason going 31-3 took them out of the ranking for some reason.
