So let me get this straight, we got the right to pay Westbrook to buy out his contract, and we sent Vanderbilt, Beasley, and Conley to get the fifth pick or worse four years from now?
This seems lame for the Jazz, if they waive Westbrook.
They're close enough to the play-in, that they should go for it, with Conley Jr.
It's not like their draft pick will get that much worse, by not making the play-in.
The "best" draft pick they could get would be 7th worst regular season team, before the draft lottery, and that would require a lot of breaks, such as 6 teams passing them.
Unless they have some FA they think they can really get, with that cap space.
They did pull off Boozer and Okur in 2004, which was a nice haul. That was the last great offseason they had, 19 years ago, in terms of FAs and trades.
This was after the Jazz tried to sign both Jason Terry and Corey Maggette in 2003, but their offer sheets were matched.
Just wait until 2024 when Conley Jr. expires, and use your cap space then.
I don’t understand how to share my trades. It says save trade and so I do that. And it says share trade as a link. I copy that link and paste it here and ends up just being the link to the start.
Also, maybe James will finally realize the error he made in 2018, by not signing with Utah, with an emerging Mitchell and Defensive Player Of The Year Gobert already on the team, and end up on the Jazz. I'm still mad at Dennis Lindsey for not pitching harder.
He says that Jokic will go down as one of the best centers to ever touch a basketball. I wonder who the best centers are that have never touched a basketball are? Maybe there are some centers that never have. I mean I know the Delta Center has.
