If we could not get into field goal range then play for OT, isn't that the general rule of thumb?

Yes. Pats had a couple of bad Defensive series but overall they shut down the Raiders Offense. We had 200+ yards rushing. Of course you play for OT.

I don't think so. Jaokbi just made a bad call. The Pats were horrible yesterday in almost every aspect of the game. I actually put his on BB, he should have made it clear. "No mistakes, if we reach the end zone fine if not we're playing for OT"

It all seems to indicate play was by design. Hard to believe the players would do that on their own.

BTW, the run game was great. Mac was horrible. He had time and missed open players most of the night.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the Patriots 2022 playoffs demise.
I have not watched the game yet but not sure I want to.
I did see a "gamebreak" report of that game winning (losing) play and I was already in a bad mood yesterday.
If I do watch it, it will be a couple of days.....

I personally do not see any reason to watch it unless you want to see our defense make a few good plays, our special teams totally screw the pooch, another dismal offensive outing other than the run game, multiple officiating fuck ups, and then the final play which is beyond imagination. Save yourself the grief.

It's what I am supposed to do as a true fan and not a fair weather fan or a bandwagon fan.

It is a better thing than what the haters or the angry are calling it.
It is far better to try real hard and fail then to never try. I can live with that!

I watched the game live. I almost destroyed a 65" LG LED. I had to go for a two mile walk just to get my head straight. I think I was talking out loud for the first mile or so. I think people were calling their dogs inside. I wasn't really listening, I was talking and yelling at BB and Ftty.

Did you have money on the game? If not, why be that bothered by a game this season. Even if they make the playoffs they are a long shot to get by the Bills and KC.
