Not so sure.

Harden and Embiid would both have to make some serious adjustments to their playing style for this to work.

Harden would have to let Embiid run the offense through him from time to time AND he would have to be available for spot ups off Embiid touches.

Sounds like a small deal, but he hasn’t played that way to date. And Embiid is going to have to be okay with being a roll guy for 25-30 possessions a game.

Simmons is stunted though, still very young but he is not even close to the player Harden is. Now I am not saying the Sixers win a title with the two but it’s an upgrade. Having to figure out how to make those two stars fit together is better than a guy that can’t shoot past 6 feet imo

I think Harden plays that way because he played for a coach that wanted him to do exactly that in the offense. In his younger years, he was great in the PG role for OKC. Not sure at all, but I think he adjusts his game, playing for a coach like Spo, and team like Miami

He's been playing that way so long though....I'm not sure he could switch back.

Simmons and Harden is an even worse fit though imo. Yeah Simmons can play off ball but he can’t shoot and he needs the ball in his hands to score, just score a different way. I think either way they aren’t winning a title but Harden gives them a better shot imo

If the Rockets are smart they'll want Simmons instead of Embiid.

I'm not an Embiid guy. Hes more talented than Simmons but he can't lead a team to a title. He just says "fuck it" way too often.

He's top 5, so it's not too far off. I wonder if they factored in KD and Steph not playing in a while. If they did, then #2 would be between AD and Giannis and AD is a better all around player than Giannis.

I have him 4th. Just under Lebron, Giannis and Kawhi. And Kawhi is pushing it so AD could be 3rd.
