Tonight started 8 of 10 at home for the Lakers. If they want HCA in round 1, need to try and go 6-4 at least....possibly even 7-3

Like everyone they need to get healthy Nunn, monk, reeves, tht are young guys that can play roles on a good team

They need to get AD back, and find a real rotation and stick with it

Just because the warriors are in the west doesn't mean you have to be biased everything western conference related. A .500 record gets you the 5th seed currently. That isn't good considering we are approaching the halfway mark soon. Lakers would have been in much more trouble a few years ago if they were 16-16

There is a solid chance 9 and 10 who end up in the play in game will end up below .500

It is a down year (mostly due to no kawhi or murray/porter) for the west once you get to seeds 4-15. Top 3 likely all end up with 55+ wins but they very well may be the only teams out west with 50 plus wins

And that proves nothing. The east won the title several times when they were a crappy conference. Who wins the title is irrelevant to the west having a down year this season

That is the biggest issue. They cant settle on a rotation because they havent had their full roster. They finally have Ariza and he played fairly well. He needs to get into game shape. Still need Nunn and he will need to get into game shape, and it would be nice if folks could quit falling into ADs ankles and knees. The injuries and Covid protocols are why THT is playing as much as he is.

Entirely possible. But there are too many variables to really know which teams will be playing well and which ones will not be. A team gets ripped up by Covid and it can take months before they get back into the flow.

Health is always a factor but I think it is even more so now.
