Rory's swing looks awesome so far. Phil's starting to heat up as well.

Couldn't believe he yanked the drive on 18 into the woods after those 5 holes.

Yeah, he had a great up and down to get out of there with bogey though. Maybe he's getting his mojo back. Hard to believe he's only 24 years old.

Speith’s ability to focus is amazing.
His belief in himself never waivers.

Don't think so. It is not as if they are going to be hanging out on a regular basis moving forward. However they are both part of a very elite fraternity & both have helped in ensuring that they & others have made a lot of $$ in their careers.

I think that his is another case of fans making assumptions about elite level athletes & their lives. In the end both of these guys may have some ups & downs, but they lead great lives & are not going to focus on petty feuds or things of that nature (another case of the media overstating things). Oh well - again - hoping for a great Masters & enjoy for those of you who are attending - so jealous.
If you've never been you must go once in your lifetime; find a way. Its like a religious experience being there. I can't describe it.

He's going to win. I can see it in his eyes.

Yep & where I live now is not too far of a drive from Augusta. Oh well - maybe in the next year or two. Thanks.

Welp.... no chance of Sergio defending his jacket.

13 on 15 to go to +10.... 5 in the water. ouch

Wow - this is straight out of the movie "Tin Cup". It appears that on his first 4 shots that went in the water that he basically hit to the same spot on the green. Why wouldn't you aim elsewhere - even if you left yourself a very long putt or chip?

Fowler with a bomb of a putt on 6 to stay within 1..... hard to believe he's only got 4 tour wins and no majors...

Not really. He's a good player who is simply not on the level of guys like Spieth or McIlroy. He's popular with the kids, so the media loves to lump him in with the class above him, talentwise.
