I would not be surprised to see Strong's times change, but he showed he has enough speed. Not a burner, but enough, when you consider his beastly 42-inch vertical and baseball gloves for hands. Try covering that dude one on one.

Yeah, regardless Strong is a beast.

Tyler Lockett is a smooth man. So natural in the gauntlet. Kevin White/JJ Nelson also killed it in the Gauntlet

Tre McBride might be a nice sleeper. JJ Nelson only weighs in the 150's haha

Watched Mariota dropping back and throwing ... looks like he's been doing it all his life. Great footwork, good arm and right on the money. Petty's arm looks just fine ... I don't know why some people out there question it. Sean Mannion? I'll pass, very average arm. Jameis looks very comfortable from the pocket as expected.

J. Strong really caught my eye. Not a blazer but good measurables and solid hands. Kevin White, Parker and Cooper will set the bar. Dorsett looks awesome as well if you can live with a small WR.

Mariota's placement on his throws have been right on all day. Jameis as well although he threw a couple a bit behind where the throws should have been in front; love his confidence. Petty looks very solid on all his throws ... no worries about his arm. Blake Sims looks horrible.

Yup. Winston and Mariota are on the money. Petty's arm is very nice and he throws a tight spiral -- he does struggle with consistency in his accuracy though.

Too bad that the Raiders will draft White, unless, of course, they trade with the Birds for ????, which I can't see, unless they want shady + a lot of picks.

So, unless we trade Foles ++ to Tennessee, we'll not see MM. Oh well, maybe we get Grayson in the 3rd round? Was he there today? I watched most of the combine, but didn't see Grayson. Bennett didn't look real good, so if MM isn't possible, Grayson should be the target. I think.

I wouldn't rule out the Jags as a possible trade partner. If the Titans take Leonard Williams, I could see the Jags looking at some trade down options. They need as many picks as possible.

Ameer Abdullah with a 4.61 40. I really like this kid and I'm more than fine with that time, especially if it helps drop him to our 3rd rounder. While he doesn't have elite top end speed, he has plenty of game speed and has great lateral explosiveness. Great hands with good vision and runs tougher than his size. Only concern would be his fumbling past.

Jay Ajayi is another RB I really like. He runs a 4.62. Another time I'm more than fine with

David Cobb pulls up lame during his 40. He's holding his quad.

Love Lockett and not really surprised on his 40 time. Hundley not surprised he checked off the measurable's I've not been impressed with his decision making.

RB 40 times aren't as important to me ... anything around a 4.6 is good enough. Vision, balance, blocking ability, toughness between tackles, hands out of the backfield etc ... that's what you look at.

I was impressed with Hundley. And I wasn't when I watched him play this year.

I think a few of these WRs work their way into round one and some others drop.

I couldn't find much on Chris Conley. That kid is an athletic freak. Here's a couple extremely acrobatic catches he made during his time in Georgia:

That's all I can find for now. I'm sure more will be made available to the internet in the near future.

I really don't get the interest in the combine.
I'm left wondering what people think they learned about prospects at the combine that they didn't already know and that makes a difference? Apart from the interviews and the medicals, so what.

Outside of being just another chance to talk football. It's all about potential.

....it gets old but seeing these giants run is a trip.

Dante Fowler ran a heck of a time for his size ... already one of the top guys in this draft. He won't be there at 20, but he's one of the guys in this draft I wouldn't mind trading up for. I think he'd be a beast at rush End for us.
