Seeing that the Astros and Angels are playing each other and the Rangers/stros still have a series really makes me realize how bad this last week hurts. 4-3 instead of 2-5 even woulda done wonders.

That said, I actually think we still have a shot if we can somehow sweep the Indians here. Got game 1.

Sadly tomorrow is Hughes vs Kluber so we have a 10% chance at best.

But find a way to finish this home stand strong and there is at least hope.

Absolutely. I just struggle to turn away as much as I say I will. And since vikes only play Sunday's I get bored lol.

It's mostly false hope because I just don't see any chance we win tonight. But a sweep would actually put us in it.

LOL. Same here, and even though I've got three daughters and would love to be able to jump on the Lynx bandwagon - I just can't.

As for Hughes tonight - I could envision another case where he gives us more false hope. Wouldn't be surprised if he tossed a gem, only to throw a clunker next week to kill us. Hopefully his career track record holds to form of being an every other year pitcher, and he becomes a stud again next year.
