Torchetti just has a good coaching personality too. He looks and talks like a coach. Finds combos that work and says go out there and do it. Also, he scratched Prosser first chance he got which is always smart.

Same system, different strategy. He knows we ain't a heavy skill team. So putting good pucks on the net has been what he's preached. The PP also isn't dinking around with the puck nearly as much.

And the biggest move off all....if two guys(Granlund and Pominville) look completely lost for MONTHS. Why the fuck would keep them not only on the same line but on our 1st or 2nd lines. Torchetti split them up and what the fuck do you know? They look competent. Now we've got lines that are playing well together.

Yeo just didn't understand the simple shit. Like playing Granlund on his off hand on PP. Having Coyle at center when Haula is a solid player who can do it. Having two lefties on our first D pair.

Was so frustrating. Maybe we end up losing a bunch again who knows. All I know is We know have a coach who gives us a fighting chances with strategy and motivation.

Interesting. Russo had been hinting at this stuff for more than a year, but it seems that Yeo's preferential treatment of the veterans created a divide in the locker room, which is too bad.

I didn't realize the Adam Oates thing was going on.
