Yup, I'd expect Austin Jackson is a Mariner. Maybe Smiley too?!

I'd like that

Rumors that Walker is involved.

If so we better be getting a lot more than just Austin Jackson for Walker and Franklin!

Also, if all of you are just watching baseball news, reports are Marshawn Lynch is ending his holdout and will report to camp by tomorrow!

If it were for Zobrist, I think I'd be okay maybe.

Nick Franklin for Austin Jackson works out perfectly.

I like Nick and I think he could be a solid starter with the Rays, but there was no place for him in Seattle with Cano already here.

Austin Jackson does k a lot, but he's a proven .270 + hitter with 10-12 hrs and good speed. He's basically Almonte who can actually hit.

I think this move indicates that James Jones will either go down to AAA or the M's are concerned with his recent struggle

Yeah, I really liked Jones when he was going. But it seems the book is out on him now. So send him down and work on hitting the breaking stuff and then come back up.

Whats Jacksons contract status? Jones and Jackson together in the OF next year can cover ALOT of ground.

Jackson has 1.5 years left, so hopefully we can get him resigned.

Btw Jackson is hitting .343 in July (105 abs) with an OPS of .891

He also hits .320 against lefties

We now have a platoon of Jackson, Ackley, Jones, Endy, and Denorfia

Wish we would have been able to get Corey Hart out of here though. I guess Jackson can be that guy on days when Endy is in the lineup against righties? Still no clear replacement for the 7 foot strikeout though

If Morales can somehow be last year's Morales, our offense has a chance

Watching his at bats, don't count on it. He looks bad right now. He really hurt himself with that holdout garbage.

I'm surprised that I am feeling decent with how things went down. I was expecting to be disappointed. Also Toronto made no moves so hopefully we can hang in there
