It was not PI. It was holding or illegal contact, or face guarding.....It was not PI....It was a great game. Cam won that game on those three 3rd and longs that he ran for a 1st...

Obvious PI. Absolute BS

Yeah, i mean the refs were right on top of it and even the head ref in the booth watched it. Clearly they are wrong and you are right.

Yes it should have. It was an awful no call.

The Patriots didn't deserve this win, but Gronk was literally within arms length of where the ball was intercepted when the contact was initiated.

No, I agree... to call it "uncatchable" is hazy for me. I dont know why they changed their mind because if it's already thrown, then there's a reason for it. On situations like these with the PI/holding calls, the flag is almost NEVER picked up... even if the ball was deemed "uncatchable." -- that's why if they think it's uncatchable, then don't throw it.

The ref on top of it threw the flag. :thumb:

How? He got tackled.

Gronk was like triple or quadruply covered today. The few catches he had there were like four Panthers surrounding to tackle him. The guy is a total beast! Don't let a stupid no call fog your homer glasses.
Go Gronk!

Gronk didn't even make much of an effort to the ball until it was picked off, and it wasn't because he was held because he was not held

We take it any way we can get it, baby. 7-3.

Hats off to the Pats. This was a crazy game, where both Offenses played great ball control. Brady was tearing us up in the second half. That early fumble by Ridley was huge.

Yep, good comment Great game played the way it supposed to be played. Pats ran really good today against a top tier team. The fumble sucked, but it was a great defensive play, the guy stuck his meaty hand in there and knocked it out.

They had like triple coverage on Gronk, amazing he got the catches and TD he did.

I am curious. They say it was un-catchable, but if he was not there to pick it off, it would have landed at Gronks feet...so what the deal? So a person has to be in the way for PI to not stand? It like saying he would have caught the ball if he was not held....

Hey, GS....nice win for your guys tonight, dude....but I have a question. How do I make a poll and have it close before the game ends? I've tried it many times by putting the time in the box, but then it tells me the poll will close on a date 2 weeks away, and if I put a zero in it, the poll stays open indefinitely.....so I always put 1 day after the game for it to close. What's the secret?
Thanks.

It's over dude, Broncos coming up, another prime time game. The Peyton-Tom rivalry continues, great match coming up, forget about today, we lost. 7-3 is good. Panthers played a great game and beat us, it did not depend on that one play, however sexy it may seem that the Pats get the the ball on 1-yard line and punch it in. Too close man, too close,

I have been over it, but was just curious. Car 8-11 on 3rd downs, and some of those were 15+ yrds, lost this game for NE, and Ridley's fumble, we at least get 3 there.

And Cam burned us on like 3 critical 3rd downs with his legs. That guy for all his antics is one hell of a player.

I'm not sure what's going on with that -> make sure you're checking all the options. I'll take a look at it. Thanks for starting the threads/polls, man - I was mainly posting over in the Panzers forum.
