I like Hoffman but I'm scared of Morin turning into Chara. Hoffman could push this team over the top if the D and goaltending is decent...

I agree Morin and the pick is too much. I would think we could do better than Hoffmann and a fourth for those three players .

Chara was a bit of a late bloomer, but he still had 231 nhl games by this point in his career. Morin has 3.

I’m not saying I’m giving up hope for him, and obviously I’m pulling for him, but I just don’t see how he’s an impact nhl-er without having shown something nhl worthy in 5 years post draft. And he’s out the first half of next year and will be coming back from essentially 18 months without meaningful hockey at that point.

I just don’t think he has that much value at this point. Someone might pick him up on waivers if the flyers did that, but he’s not a major trade piece, at least not to me.

Because of that, I’m ok with the trade.

Hhahahahah No i'm not holding out for the future id like someone like 24-25 who can have an impact now and in the future. I want the best of both worlds.

I thought i read somewhere that said they were looking for a goalie. Maybe the "19th pick" and Stolarz could get it done. If i am them i dont give Skinner up for less that the 14th pick and a prospect.

I don't really like the idea of moving down. I guess if you like a bunch of guys the same at that pick, moving down makes sense, but I don't really want to see that.

If Hexy is thinking about trading any of those picks i want it to be a package of both 14th and 19th pick to move up in this years draft.
