As for the OA, go back and watch it a second time knowing what you know.
Just fast forward through those dance scenes...

It would be an understatement to say that a lot of thought went into this.
There are a number of inconsistencies with her story, so you never quite know what is real and what is in her head.

That being said, there are many parallels to be drawn between the separate groups.
Vivid imagery that can be seen throughout all the episodes.

BBA had a twin brother, Theo. Theo A. The OA.

There is more to this story than meets the eye.

And that brings me to my biggest problem with the show... it wasn't good enough to make you question whether anything was true... More or less it pissed me off than anything... I don't mind open endings and shows/movies that make me question what happened or what will happen next, but it seemed like this show thought it was something that it wasn't... and what made me even more disappointment is that I truly liked the first episode a lot...

I liked "Love". If I had watched it before "Master Of None" I might have liked it better. Thinking about it they don't seem that similar but at the time they did. It was still good. Liked the cast. The Australian girl was odd and funny and I liked the date episode with her.

I think i may have watched Love before Master of None and I lean heavily towards Master of none

the characters on love were detestable .. doesnt mean it is a bad show for me (although "Girls" ruins that theory in my books so I can understand characters completely turning someone off of a show - lol). I found it interesting how i didnt like either main character to begin but i felt sorry for Gus (thought Mickey was an asshole) and then, as the storylines progressed, at the end i still didnt like either character but I felt he was the asshole and felt sorry for Mickey

Another one that I watched, but couldn't stand was Flaked. My main take away was that it was just a load of hipster trash.

Oh I like Master of None much better than Love. I just think I may have liked Love better than I do if I had watched it first. I felt the same way about the characters. That show they were making sounds great though, huh?
I made it through as season of Girls before I couldnt take it anymore.

It was bad. I finished it just to finish it and wondered why.

I don't think Making a Murderer has been mentioned yet.

Very engrossing, and an entertaining view, but the content was pure BS. The producers had an outcome they were pushing the viewer towards, and the painted every bit that they showed (and didn't show) with that outcome in mind. Pure propaganda.

But still entertaining.

If you like cheesy sci-fi, check out Sense-8. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but the concept is interesting enough.

Very uneven, but ambitious as all hell.

Peaky Blinders is the best original series on Netflix.

1920's Brit Gangster series with Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy (sparingly), and that one dude from Jurrasic Park.

Super excellent show, and there's 3 seasons. Watch it.

Let me echo that. One of the best ten shows on TV. But it moves slowly, so if you need 24, skip it.

I think this is a full list of the shows I have watched, in order of my preference...

Stranger Things
MCU
(all three shows exist in the same universe and are building to a big team-up)
House of Cards
Bloodlines
Peaky Blinders
Sense 8
Making a Murderer
OA
Narcos
(it is good, but I don't like having to read subtitles. It requires a level of attention that I don't often have time for)
Orange is the New Black
Arrested Development
(pre-Netflix was AMAZING. But the one season they have done so for forNetflix left me wanting. Hopefully the next season will recapture some of the original wit)
Love (if a character has no redeeming qualities, it is difficult for me to enjoy the show)
Flaked (similar to Love in that the characters are completely despicable, including the town. And the love story is completely unbelievable)

These are shows that I tried, but gave up on...

Kimmy Schmidt
Bojack Horseman
(I may give it another chance based on the rave reviews, but the first 2-3 episode did nothing for me)
Fuller House
Lilyhammer
(the jumping between languages was a suspension of disbelief I couldn't get past. Putting in a weird device like that just so Van Zandt wouldn't have to speak Swedish (or whatever the language was) was lazy in my opinion)
Hemlock Grove

Had this conversation with some people at work, but I'm always looking for good binge-worthy Netflix shows. So give me some recommendations of ones that might have slipped off my radar. Here are my two cents on the ones I've watched:

Luke Cage - kick ass. Very entertaining, went all over the map in season 1. Wasn't like other superhero shows where he learns about his powers and then kicks everyones ass all season. Will watch season 2

Narcos - Loved it, but I'm a big fan of all Pablo documentaries/movies

House of Cards - Done with it. Didn't finish this most recent season

Marco Polo - Huge fan of this, loved season 1 and season 2 was better

Bloodlines - watched a couple of episodes, never got hooked

Arrested Development - I LOVED the real show, the netflix first attempt was weird but still liked it

Orange is the New Black - shit. Hated it. Watched season 1 and was bored the whole time, I just don't get it.

Pacific Heat - Yeah, made it about 4 minutes and quit this Archer rip off

Medici - Really liked it. Will be hard to see what they do in season 2

Last Kingdom- Really liked it, will watch season 2

Crown - heard good and bad about it

Have yet to try or get hooked:

Kimmy Schmidt - watched two episodes, couldn't hang with it
Daredevil - same, watched two and gave up. May need to go back
Jessica Jones - Would I like this, like Luke Cage?
Master of None - I like Aziz, I honestly thought this was standup but have heard recently it is an actual show
Stranger Things - I'm sure I'll like it, but will probably wait for season 2 and then binge watch both

Ok, there is my all over the map take on them. Every day it looks like another 5 Originals come up and instantly have 5 stars, which I don't always agree with.
Master of None had a few funny parts but it was overall kinda lame and had sort of a hidden agenda

My thoughts:

Love - good
Master Of None - fantastic
Red Oaks - great. Great cast
Kimmy Schmidt - great. I was amazed Kemper could carry a show but she does.
Narcos - great
Stranger Things - loved it
Bosch - nothing you haven't seen before but well done
Catastrophe - great

Daredevil is pretty good. You'll like it more once the villain is properly introduced. As far as Jessica Jones goes, I found it to be pretty boring and gave up on it. If you like 80s movies at all or grew up around then you'll absolutely love Stranger Things.

Watching the Sense 8 Christmas special right now.

This show is so frustrating. The concept is awesome, but the Wachowski "sisters" are working their agenda sooooo hard, it gets hard to watch...

It's quite good and funny but it might not for everyone as it's geared towards urban millennials (older/non-urban people might not get many of the references).

Stranger Things is the best thing I've seen since Breaking Bad. A+

Narcos Season 1 was solid. Season 2 was kinda meh.

Love Peaky Blinders...I think we have to wait at least until next Fall/Winter to watch season 4 (films this spring).
Watched a couple episodes of The Medici...so far so good, but I love history and especially regarding Florence (went there a few years ago).

I agree with everyone's love of Stranger Things.
Got into House of Cards, but now I just want everyone to die on that show.
Watched Orange is the New Black, but lost interest after 1.5 seasons.

We just finished Nurse Jackie (pretty solid, but was ready for it to be over or her to OD). Currently watching Shameless (new episodes are on Showtime) and I love it!
