This team was doomed when howie didn't make a play for a real WR when we had the chance. we all knew the consequences . He basically gave up on the season with that .

While a receivers would be nice Howie can only do so much. He did a fantastic job this offseason and should be in the running for executive of the year. Can't fix all the problems in one off season.

Teams just don't give away good WR's at trade deadlines, and the one kinda rumored going to Philly in Alshon Jeffrey was cheating and got caught. so....

Nope. At least Mamula could play. He just wan't worth a trade up to #7 and the Bucs took Sapp with the #12 pick. Mamula played, just not worth the 7th overall pick. Agholor just cannot play.

WR's and CB's on this team are bottom of the barrel. I would cut Agholor at halftime ... pay his bus ride to the nearest Holiday Inn and be done with it. The rest of the WR's aren't much better ... to me it's first round WR all the way with CB in Rd 2. Our OL has actually done a very good job this game ... they are coming together. It's one of the few positives to take from the first half.

i was fine with the receiver situation because they traded up for wentz (a move i loved) and brought in jim schwartz (another move i loved.) but agholor should have been cut immediately after his fucktard comments a few weeks ago. that was the finishing touch to the fact he just sucks. today's first half just exposed him further. he cannot be on this team and he does not belong in the NFL.

The Eagles traded their 1st round pick and 2 second round picks to move up and draft Mamula.

We took Agholor with the #20 pick and did not pay extra to get him. It was a bad pick but I can't believe you suggest Mamula could play. He was garbage.

When you take into account what it cost the Eagles the Mamula pick as being the worst pick is not even close. He lasted 4 seasons in the NFL.

The Seahawks defense is just too good for the Eagles. You need weapons to beat good defenses and the Eagles do not have any.

I do not doubt that Agholor is a scrub. However Mamula was the #7 pick and we gave up a lot to get him and he was a complete scrub.

mamula certainly wasn't anything special, but he wasn't horrible either. he at least racked up 30+(?) sacks in 5 or 6 years with a bunch of forced fumbles. i think he even had an INT return TD mixed in there. he'll always be linked to sapp, who i couldn't believe the eagles passed on. it's so incredibly stupid to pass on guys with smaller character issues. marvin harrison is another guy back in the day that dropped who i really wanted the eagles to take.
