i have to say man i'm not impressed with any of the 4 teams in the conference finals. its really strange how mediocre all these teams seem.

This was a weird year, there were no real standout teams. I guess you could say the Capitals but they had their flaws. I heard someone say at the start of the playoffs, they would not be shocked to see 7 out of the 8 teams out West in the finals (Minny being the exception). It's pretty true.

yeah its just crazy i mean malkin and sid really haven't done much this series not that i can remember at least. kessel has been good not great. their defense outside of letang is just a bunch of guys. just really weird

I counted 5 points in 7 games from him. Zero in the big game 7 which took a fluke bounce goal to win.

Lol 3 gwg? Really. Obviously the overtime winner. But I guess your talking about the two where he scored the 3rd goal to make it 3-1 wit a 4-2 final. Or the one where he scored the 3rd goal to make it 3-0 and it was a 5-2 final. You obviously won't but try to be a little objective here lol. But be my guest and whatever makes you feel better

Im being realistic. The Devils are not getting Yukapov or Hoffman for Merril and a 2nd. They would have to give up much more than that. You would be looking at a prospect like Boucher or an immediate starter like Larsson or A big gun that would make an immediate impact. And A draft pick. Im definitely not for giving that much up for Yukapov he's a gamble. And I wouldnt give that much up for Hoffman either. Especially give he wants out due to issues with management. Could be a problem. Best bet keep building through the draft and free agency. Find players that can effectively surround the guys like cammy and henrique. Without destroying cap or the teams future. I have faith in Chero

Clarkson would revitalize the Devils imo. Bring back the energy,grit and scoring touch they have been lacking in.The spark he would bring to the Devils would bring Devils jerseys back to the Jersey Shore imo. Great for the fans and the team. To be fair Clarkson may be the only player who could will the Devils to the cup \. I may even say he's the greatest player in Devils history edging out Brodeur
