If my math is correct, that puts his acceleration almost quadruple that of Usain Bolt's lol

Got the use of the tilde from an engineering professor in college... Has stuck ever since

I love using it for forms that go to our accounting staff, fs many of them up, and you would think they would know it.

Man the Broncos have really gotten into your head this week @NEPatsfan. Everything they say and everything they do this week you take as some slight towards your team. He was just joking. Watch the actual press conference and he was laughing as he said it. He has great respect for brady and Patriots and knows he will have to have a great game for them to stand a chance.

Once people know what its used for they figure out how genius it truly is. Nobody has time to pull out decimal points out of their ass anymore. In my line of work we speak strictly in approximations and leave the real numbers to documentation.

3 seconds is what you are shooting for. The Broncos, at least my guess, will try and put more guys closer to the LOS and force Brady to hold onto the ball longer. The Chiefs usually could do this but because their pass rushers were so banged up they actually backed up more than usual in the secondary. They are usually a very aggressive group that relies on their pass rushers but when they realized how little they would get they backed up a couple of extra yards. For the Broncos the pass rushers are about as healthy as can be this late in the season. Throw in sounds like Chris Harris will be a lot better health wise this week compared to last week so chance he can actually use his 2nd arm this time around.

More on the line, in press if you will, results in more pick plays.

Project management mainly. Do a lot of proposal/bid work & site reporting.

Same here. I'm a PM for a large commercial roofing contractor.

Seems like I spend more and more of my time reading and highlighting contracts now. They get longer each year. 300+ pages for something that could be done on a handshake.

I didn't say the Patriots wouldn't try to counter that. Man you are sensitive today. I said that the Broncos will probably try to play a bit closer to the LOS in the hopes they can stay with their guy and let the pass rushers make some plays. Teams know this is the best way to try and stop the Patriots offense but very few have been even close to doing it. They have a lot of talent when healthy. There is a reason they have been the winningest team over the last 15 years in the league.

You just seem to have to come back against anything said against the Patriots today of anybody even remotely thinking the Broncos could do well in this game. You have a great team and reason to have some confidence but not like the Broncos are chop liver. We do have quite a bit of talent and if any team can handle all those pick plays it would probably be the Broncos with quite a bit of Corner depth that can stay with their guy very well. Doesn't mean they will accomplish it but if a team could it would probably be the Broncos.

As a football fan I see it as being a bit lopsided. You have two teams with on par defenses, and one with wounded duck at the helm of their offense. It's why the spread is -3 to the visitor.

Denver wins on defensive scoring, and by pulling Manning before it's to late, or on muffed punt type plays.

On Par defenses? See now your homer glasses are coming out. Broncos 1st in total yards/Patriots 9th. I mean the difference in total defense is 56 yards. The defense that is 56 yards behind you guys is the 30 ranked Philly defense. So decent difference.

Then when we look at rushing defense...In yards per carry Broncos rank 1st/Patriots 11th. Again the difference in the two is the same as that of the 30th ranked defense once again. Pass defense we are 1st once again and you guys are 17th. So how are those defenses comparable?

Post a copy of that memo on the lockers of Pats O-line players, and add more fuel to the raging fire.

Don't I know it. Too many potential lawsuits out there so all documentation is paramount. Pain in the ass, but it keeps us employed!

Denver allows 18.4 ppg, New England 19.7.

they are on par with each other.

I don't know if they don't know how to use it, but they're accountants! There's no approximately in that job. Way back in the day when we were still doing it with calculators when I was working finance they'd give us like a 5 dollar write-off to work with per every 10 thousand dollars.

Seriously that is the stat you are going to use? New England only turned the ball over 14 times this year. That was best in the league. Broncos on the other hand 31 times. That means the Broncos allowed a short field to an opposing offense 16 more times than the Pats this year.

Also just so you know in that score includes pick-6's allowed by the offense which Peyton threw 4 of them this year. The true number for the defense in actual points per game is 16.75 for the year. That would be tops in the NFL by a decent margin.
