Not much to say about this one really. In fact I don't know why I bother with these since no one reads this board. I guess this is more of a writing excercise for me than anything. That and I like there to be a record of the predictions I make.
Anyway last week USC beat the shit out of Arkansas State who is supposed to be a top 3 team in the Sun Belt. Idaho's defense puts up about as much resistance as the tissue paper in my house after I watch an episode of iCarly so I'm expecting USC to score on every single possession. Idaho's #1 receiver Dezmon Epps will be suspended for the game although at this point I'd rather see his dumbass kicked off the team entirely......for the second time. Another starting receiver in Ungerer is likely out as well. All of this leads to what is obviously going to be a disaster.
Perhaps Idaho's best strategy for this game would be to have the 6'6'' backup QB Lutton simply reach the ball out and fall over every single play. This should average roughly 3 yards a play. Do that four times and you've got a first down. If the play clock is run down all the way before each play you can limit the amount of time USC has the ball. Of course at the goal line this strategy probably won't work as well so I would not expect to see a lot of TDs. But this could possibly keep the score down and a 28-9 result may be achievable.
I doubt that happens however so I'm predicting a final score of USC 70 Idaho 14.
