Marcus Mariota to the Titans

Ok, let me break it down. I was a Mettenberger fan and was against Mariota. I wanted L. Williams.......I was sooooo wrong. Mariota has already passed Mett and its not even close. We are loaded with YOUNG talent and LeBeau at DC is a plus. This team is hungry and showed that in OTA's. The news coming out has not been this positive in about ten years. No corporate leadership......not a problem anymore. One of our best guys from the past is running the team from Nashville. He helped guide us during the McNair days.

I would be shocked if we didn't win 8 games in the AFC South. This is a team that is way on the rise. We have young draft picks killing it and FA's tearing it up in practice.

If Blake Bortles, who I believe is a prototypical NFL superstar QB can't make it in Jacksonville, Mariota sure as hell isn't the answer in Nashville. The Titans have shown a complete and total lack of consistency in the run game and I believe Paul Kuharksy implicitly when he wrote that this more than anything else is the reason the Titans will fail with Mariota under center.

Mettenberger should have been the man. Go all in on him, take the Eagles deal and get best-available DE and WR with the two first-rounders and four new starters on defense.

The Titans are 6-8 years away from a playoff win.

Even so, it's not enough. He knows this, you know this, I know this. We all know this.

No one is more skeptical than me, man. And as long as Tommy Smith is sitting down there in Houston using the Titans like an ATM, we won't win.

I dont lick it but have pleasure myself to it a time or two. Me, Ricky ,Julian, Bubbles and Hammer get to watch Smokey and the bandit on his fathead at the trailer park. Sure beats the drive-in seeing I'm the only one with a car and more than $3 on him
