Why do some guys have 3 college teams listed as favorites?

I have three college teams that I support because I like how they run their programs. In addition, I lived in 2 of the 3 areas and have family in the third. Why should one be locked into just one team. It's still America and it's OK to support more than one program. If anyone objects to that; that's fine with me.

For me, there is only the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. However, if I had a kid that went elsewhere, I'd probably put their logo up too.

I've abandoned my pro teams. I will only display college teams.

USC - Father taught here, thus I was raised a Gamecock. Graduated here myself, live here in Columbia now. My true team.

Texas - 2 graduate degrees from Texas. Lived there 10 years. Not a rabid fan, but I honor them.

Georgia - Mother was a Dawg. I was born in Athens while she was in grad school there with my father. She died 2 years ago, I've had that logo up since then in her honor.

Not hard to imagine why some people would have multiple colleges represented. Widen your mind, OP.

I went to Maryland but I don't give a damn about their athletics.

Born in Ohio a buckeye, I will die a buckeye. Only reason I could imagine switching is if my son or daughter would play for another university and even then it would only be for 4-5 years.

Some of you have good stories for your reasons and I can appreciate them all.
