I was listening to Gabe Kapler on the ticket. He's a coach now in the minors for the Red Sox, he gave some interesting statistics on bunting & stealing . You basically give up an out , each time.

Right try and give up the out to first base in that situation, than almost anything could score with the next batter.

you have to lay down a great one, I'd grant that
if the first baseman is right handed, try and push that way and ideally to his left...take away the chances of a force at third

and you still have problems with wheels-up Gentry

Rangers have 3 now at White Sox. Another sweep is possible if Perez continues to pitch as he has been. Sale is tough but Rangers should be able to scratch out some runs. The other two games look like good shots for Rangers wins.

Gentry has come on against LHPs, but Murphy continues to stink up the joint even against RHPs

Murphy might be the better "hitter" but gentry is easily the better player
