Clubhouse vibe is that Javier Lopez is going to stay as well. Lopez definitely on edge though.

Alex Pavlovic ‏@AlexPavlovic 47s
15 minutes to deadline and Bochy is confident Lopez will stay.

RT @Ken_Rosenthal: Source: #SFGiants will not move J. Lopez unless overwhelmed in final 15 minutes. High asking price.

Bud Norris wanted to be traded to the black and orange. Not sure he got his wish. He's going to the #orioles.

Which is why I usually roll my eyes when some guy we want to get says he would love to play here and we get all excited. Unless you're a FA it don't matter whose posters you had on your wall as a kid. And even then it matters a really really small amount.

We weren't buyers this year, so we weren't getting him.

I am happy for Baltimore. As thoughts of playoffs this year for us slipped away I started thinking about who I hope gets to the WS this year. I think for me I'll be rooting for Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. Let those that have suffered plenty like we did get a taste. And please no Cards, Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers (of course), Rangers...

I know it's not popular here but by gum I am happy for the A's and hope they can do well also, with that payroll.

Orioles did a good job improving their rotation for the playoffs for sure. They also bolstered their bullpen. Nice job by them in a very tough division. Rays, Red Sox, Orioles will be a fun battle to watch rest of the year

Call me what you want. The farm system needed help and trading Lopez gave us that opportunity. Others may feel differently but for me Sabean failed

Sabes was holding out for a deal that would have done that. He was not going to trade him for Bowker and Martinez.

There is a significant gap between Bowker+Martinez and Danny Salazar. Anyways time to move on, will see how Sabes does with the draft and waiver-deadline

Of course now that I think of it Baltimore did just win the Super Bowl so maybe I drop them too.

Probably rooting most for Pittsburgh. They are going to have their first WINNING SEASON since 1992 this year (their last year with Bonds), let alone making the playoffs.

Pirates and Orioles over .500 and headed to the playoffs!

Looks like hardly anyone got dealt league wide. Main names Soriano, Norris, Peavy, Kennedy, Crain...just not a lot of action.

And you have little to no insight as to where in that gap SabeySabes fell.

Javier Lopez called it "a good day." Said he and Giants have already discussed his free agency and their mutual interest in returning.

Yeah certainly disappointing. Rios, Lee among others all staying. Was funny to read though today that Texas was taking offers for Garza.
