I can't even name a song. Well, maybe one (and only because the Rock did a version on a TV show, lol).
One of the funniest moments from that show.

That's really what it boils down to. All about the bottom line...Fans gonna fan. lol
It's smart business.
How many people have both #8 and #24 Kobe jerseys? Or #6 and #23 Lebron jerseys? Or #23 and #45 MJ jerseys?
Wearing a jersey of someone younger than you is gay as hellFans gonna fan. lol

Mostly agree. I broke my self imposed rule recently and for Father’s Day I got a Jason Kelce jersey. I love it. My favorite Eagle of all time. Never have to worry about it becoming outdated. He’s an all time Eagle and he’ll never play for another franchise.Wearing a jersey of someone younger than you is gay as hell

Huh? why would they have to go scoreless for 30 minutes after the first 2 possessions? Had KC needed to kick a FG they only needed to go scoreless for another 15 or so minutes. 1 in a 100 for a scoreless quarter?Yes.
First off…
It would be a 1/100 kind of OT that goes scoreless 30 minutes after a the first 2 possessions where the game is also tied, so not worth an at length conversation.
You obviously need time constraints in a normal game.
Sudden death OT though?
Why?
You end up arbitrarily punishing 1 team whose drive gets cut short at the end of the clock.
AND, we just decided it is favorable to get the ball second in the current format. Now you want that team to also get the ball first in the 2nd half of a sudden death OT?
Just let the game flow until someone scores. Keep it simple.
Only thing I'd say in support of the move...well, not support but I might get it. Did he really want Wilks that badly or did he settle after he lost his DC at the time? The whole wold is of course ragging Shanahan for going away from the run in the 3rd quarter, and many of us here said so in real time. But again, either team could have won that game even with that offensive approach. More random shit went KC's way

As I said you don't like the rules and that's fine.....but it's not complicated. Never mind is the clock bothering you that much?
Do they still call it sudden death OT......other than when it actually becomes sudden death (in reg. season or playoffs)?Besides, the "sudden death OT" term needs to be retired. What is sudden about this? The only way the first team to score ends the game is if it's a defensive score (and really, that probably should be lifted at this point too).

I mean, he picked the one he thought was best out of what was available. But obviously he'd have rather had Ryans still.Only thing I'd say in support of the move...well, not support but I might get it. Did he really want Wilks that badly or did he settle after he lost his DC at the time?
If it was up to me I'd go with the postseason rules each team gets the ball once for the reg. season.....and I'd also make it 15 minutes instead of 10.I'm not really a fan of having two different rules either (other than maybe allowing a regular season tie). The fewer gimmick/situational rules the better IMO.
sucks to do it after 1 year but if not a fit then not a fit I guess.I mean, he picked the one he thought was best out of what was available. But obviously he'd have rather had Ryans still.
Obviously there was some post SB fall guy action here too. Can't fire the OC, because Shanahan is the OC.sucks to do it after 1 year but if not a fit then not a fit I guess.
Makes the angst over what the Browns did letting guys go after 4 years not seem as bad....so we've got that going for us?
Maybe but as you and others have said (and I agree) was a fall guy really needed? was a close loss to a really good team.Obviously there was some post SB fall guy action here too. Can't fire the OC, because Shanahan is the OC.
I don't think so but it's not up to me. Teams often do try to make a sacrifice to their fans' anger.Maybe but as you and others have said (and I agree) was a fall guy really needed? was a close loss to a really good team.
Are you of an age where that doesn't get complicated? Not too many current players that are 53 lol...
I wear jeans a lot. Shit! I didn’t know this was a thing haha.I think I was about 27 when I started thinking maybe I was getting to old to wear jerseys. At 30, I packed them up to give to my son when he was older and he proceeded to wear them out. lol
I was never a jersey guy, I mean I would wear one with my own name on it but that’s it. The younger than me thing is a standard I am establishing for others and it makes sense, I mean if you want to remain a man while still being a fan lol. Everyone do your own thing, just making suggestions lol.Are you of an age where that doesn't get complicated? Not too many current players that are 53 lol...
I guess...but would think a coach and or FO exec who were comfortable with the work they do would not care what irrational, emotional fans think.I don't think so but it's not up to me. Teams often do try to make a sacrifice to their fans' anger.
