1st and 10- Cmac runs for 5 yards

2nd & 5- Incomplete pass

3rd and 5- Incomplete pass

Why would you not give the best back in football 2 or maybe 3 downs to pick up 5 yards on the ground?

Once again, why don't you give the best back in football 1 or 2 atempts to get 4 freaking yards? Also, why aren't you running behind Trent?

You missed one:

2 minutes left, 3rd down and 5. Incomplete pass stops the clock, saves the Chiefs a timeout. That needed to be a run or safe pass. Incompletion was an awful result (short only of a turnover).

So many plays for both teams were empty backfield. Makes no sense to me, helps the defense focus on one aspect of the game.

Hired to be the next UCLA HC. Never been anything more than a RB coach.

He better be smart enough to surround himself with some solid crusty old veteran assistants that don't want to be a. HC.

He played at Tustin High School (I went there for 2 years but many years before he was there. Went to a couple of their games. He was a man among boys. Went to the championship game when they played Santa Margarita who was quarterbacked by Carson Palmer. Best high school game I've ever seen. Both were amazing.

I can't lie I still need someone to explain to me it as well. My one and only question is if the team who got the ball first gets a TD and hits the xp, do i win the game if i score and go for 2 or would the team who got the ball first still get the ball back?

I understand, but as NFL pros you'd think they'd know it backwards and forwards. I just found a little mind boggling...

Anyways as far I Know the OT rules it's flat-out both teams get a possession. If the team with the ball scores a TD or fg then the other team has to at least match it. In that case it's sudden death afterwards...

That’s the part that is new this year and different from the regular season. Before if the first team scored a td the game ended. Now that is not the case. Totally changes strategy on if you want the ball first or not. Apparently it wasnt communicated.

My wife and I were talking about that last night. Then, I saw a stat (think fightin mentioned it earlier) that he is 0-3 as a HC or OC when leading by 10 points or more.

That is firmly on the HC. I realize 1 of the losses was as an OC in Atlanta but this is not a coincidence IMO.

Hell, Mahomes has lost his receivers over the years and Purdy had the advantage last night with Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle and McCaffrey.

But, somehow Mahomes and the Chiefs came out ahead. May not have been the case if the Niners had a better HC.
