If we went QB it would have been Tua. RR is a defensive guy so he went Young. Young didn't live up to the hype, so we missed on another high draft pick.

I said young was the wrong pick before it was made. You and I debated it.

Coaches are trashing Young. I been reading that he is very undisplined and freelances too much. Plus, the coaches believed Young peaked as a rookie. Wow. This guy was rated so high during the draft. Sucked it didnt work out. Lets hope with the extra draft picks we can draft well.

Classless by our coaching staff if indeed true. Harris needs to find out who the morons are and address it.

We can't have coaches running to the media blasting players on their way out the door. It makes the entire organization look bad and it's unprofessional.

Rivera won't stop it because he doesn't care.
I didn't like Young, but having coaches run to the media to blast him is out of line.

I also thought it was dumb to draft 4 dlinemen in a row with your 1st round pick. Awful strategy and it bit us in the rear.

No, I think snyder was scared of rivera and stepped back at that point.
I think snyder knew things were going to start getting dicey for him.

I think Rivera was mostly left alone during his tenure because snyder was too busy trying to keep the team and cover up lies.

Yeah, I was kinda sorta co-signing what you were alluding to. But analytics or not, 160 million/95 mill guar is already tied up in 2 DL with each eating up 13% of the cap. Paying either DE what they could've commanded wasn't a smart move regardless how you looked at.

If Howell continues to show promise the new regime will be down. Can they make it work? That's another question.

Like every QB in today's game, Howell will be looking for that new contract in 2024 (his third year) even though they can hold out for the next two years.

This Rivera changing the culture nonsense is old. I think Rivera is a good guy and would never do anything of that sort. He is a professional.

However, Rivera while a good person, will not do anything to find out who leaked this garbage to the media nor would he punish them if he found out.

That is what bothers me. Clearly a coach broke confidentiality and betrayed the trust of the coaches. That cant be tolerated.

When asked about news stories about people bashing (now) former players, Rivera responded with an eerily familiar remark... " ‘Hey, just go talk to him.’ I said, ‘Understand what he’s trying to get across to you.’ I think as they go and they talk and they listen to him, it’s been enlightening for a lot of these guys. I mean, it’s a whole different approach."

Fair enough..the reporter could be making it up.

It said coaches and others within the organization. The reporter could be lying...that is true.

However, if he is not lying, how in the world would he know what coaches are thinking?

A good portion of this board wanted young resigned and some advocated for a 1st round pick if traded.
In other words, this board and the fans apparently had no clue that coaches and others in the orgsnization. If the fans didn't know about it..or it appears we didn't, then either a coach talked off the record, or the reporter made it up.

Do you have any other theories?
