And so far…has been invisible. He and Allen were a statistical swap, and Allen's contract demands were more team friendly. He also had the advantage of knowing the incoming system.

You had me curious so I looked up DreMont's stats. 2 tackles, 1 sack vs. Allen's 7 tackles. Id say slight edge to Allen after 2 games, but I don't think Allen is the issue.Wasn't Dre'Mont Jones a cornerstone of that defense last year? IIRC there were a lot here saying that it should be a team priority to get him re-signed.
Dremont has definitely been quiet so far this year, but so has a lot of that seahawks defenseYou had me curious so I looked up DreMont's stats. 2 tackles, 1 sack vs. Allen's 7 tackles. Id say slight edge to Allen after 2 games, but I don't think Allen is the issue.

There is no true scary edge rusher on this team, which means teams don't have to double, chip or help on any player making it much harder for the interior lineman to make an impact. There are roster construction/injury issues with this defense right now.I was going to point this out. It is only 2 games but so far but Allen hasn't done squat.
