I got a new glucose monitor that goes on the arm the other day so I take my readings multiple times. My average glucose in those three days is higher than any M's batter's average. I think that says a lot about both of us...

And only three hits innings 2 thru 9 in Yesterdays game. Thru 6 innings today - two hits…. 5 hits in the last 14 innings.
And the funny but sad thing is, every day I look at the lineup with some sort of hope that I will see something different like our '95 lineup.

Kelenic is still growing as a player, but the kid really shows he cares with every at bat and every play in the field. I could deal with a season like this much easier if everyone showed they just gave a shit like Kelenic does night after night. They just don’t have the right skipper, this is a culture thing IMO.

Then you have France over at 1B joking and laughing it up with every base runner even when he hasn't produce in a month. I will take a Kelenic over a France anytime.

I agree 100%!

France isn’t the only one either, it’s like these guys are just going through the motions. Each player has to take accountability, but this comes down to the teams culture or lack there of. Scott needs to go first and foremost, this team has more ability than it shows. Haven’t had a real skipper since Lou, pure garbage.

4 hit's is not going to do it. False advertising once again and just close enough to think we may have a chance. By the way, can France NOT yank his head and body to the left on EVERY outside pitch? Wonder why he pops it up or rolls over almost every AB. No coaching just send'em out every night to fail...JMO...

Julio finally gets on base!
That's what I said...lol

Then Kelenic watches strike 3. This control or dominate the zone crap has backfired. They are all too gun-shy to chase marginal strikes. Then they are frozen on legit strikes. Back to small ball lineup. I want all contact hitters.

This is why we don't deserve to be at .500.

Shit, we don't even deserve to be at .300...just challenge Oakland for the basement already.

Yeah, we need to come to the realization that this team just isn’t very good.. Hope for them to turn this around is slowly fading.. We’re almost in August and they just keep spinning their tires …

But I thought the people that know said he wasn't slumping it was all about the injury??? I knew last year 'slump' was bullshit. I am repeating myself, but he was taking 100 pitches a night on the machine after games. You don't do that if it is an injury. I think he is just scared to step into pitches now with all the times he has been hit. I really do. His ass goes towards third as he swings towards the dugout on outside junk, He used to drive it the other way. That was the guy I enjoyed watching. This guy is done.
I will raise my hand and admit I was wrong. But to be fair, his slumps were almost always right after his injuries. And that was the excuse “those in the know” said I parroted it.
