Then the Denver coach burns all his TO's in a desperate hope that hawks will fumble out of the victory formation.

Seems like the guy might be in over his head..

Going to be a long season for RW in the AFC West... Chargers and Chiefs look awesome...

Hell the Raiders didn't look BAD either.. they still hung with the Chargers.

Meanwhile the Rams need walkers and IVs...
The Cards need to be renamed to the Emos...
And the 49ers are between a virgin and Jimmy Garporlrorlrol.

Yah that's a woops. Eh whatever. I was REALLY impressed with Cross/Lucas in the 1st half. They faltered a bit in the 2nd... a little disappointing but they're not going against easy guys either. Woolen did get legit beat on a play but called dirty on another. I'd like to see a bit more of Mafe next week.... hopefully Walker will be back. NOT impressed with Taylor after this game.

LOL! O M F G!

Lets hope those Denver trolls stay off the board now, I warned them about Karma. 100% believe that shit.
Kind of like midnight angel talking shit about how dare we even suggest the hawks could slow down the mighty manning in the SB....

noob first year HC

That's a relevant point and I said it all offseason - now in defense of the Broncos let's not overreact... Seattle's 05' SuperBowl #1 offense got beat by the decent Jacksonville Jaguars week 1...

But they have a new HC, a new DC, and a new OL coach... there's not exactly 'stability' in that team. And I FULLY believe (been saying it EARLY in the year) Fangio, Donatell, and the prior crew got more effort out of that defense than it was really worth.

And that is the first loss of the season for Denver. Getting the hawks a better pick next draft already. :-D

Well, I guess for those of us who thought we wouldn't take the season opener (self included), I guess we forgot all about the changes Denver was going through as well, not just the QB trade.

Did either team really deserve a win with how they played? Probably not, but I was impressed with how we ended up managing, even if our defense was still allowing holes at times as if we never canned Norton in the first place. Still came down to whatever the hell Wilson and Denver were doing in the red zone.

So while it may not have been the most memorable season opener, still, a win's a win. This year, we'll be taking them any way we can.

Good win for the Seahawks. I'm impressed with some of your young players. Seahawks deserved this victory. PC had them ready for primetime. Time for the Broncos to regroup. It's a long season. We'll see if RW and the offense can get some chemistry going. 12's did their job tonight. Congrats to you guys.

Great win for the Hawks. Still don't see them winning more than 8 or 9 games but the team does have some talent.

Barton had a great game today. The young corners fared pretty well. Pass rush is still a big question mark. We greatly benefited from the Brocnos shooting themselves in the foot with penalties. And I think they got away with a lot of clear holds on the OL.

Geno looks like he will be a perfectly serviceable caretaker QB. He will keep us in games but he isn't going to win many games for us.

I really would like to know why this offense sputters so much in the 2nd half of games. Same with Geno today as Russ last year.

Yah know I didn't think about it like that... I guess it's kind of net neutral end of day so might as well celebrate the win lol.

I LOVE the 1st half Cross/Lucas I saw... hated the 2nd half I saw of them.
Woolen I was pretty good with.

And Taylor, what the fuck performance was that? I mean Jesus Christ. I know he got a couple QB hits, but good fuckin' lord. Get Mafe in there at this point.
