Where is everyone that kept saying you can't beat TB by only passing?

They may not win? But it wasn't because of the game plan.

Shit, it's only game 1, but if game 1 is any indication you may only be able to beat TB by passing. Their front 7 are monstrous in their run D.

The Bucs are plenty good but their secondary isn't very scary at all if their DL doesn't destroy you immediately. Can definitely see the Packers or even like teams like the Browns dropping a lot of points on them.

The Cowboys O is very legit though.

The Bucs were lucky that those TO's didn't cost them that game. Give Dallas credit but an L is still an L. I see both secondaries aren't really improved much from last year. I can see both these teams in a few shoot-outs this season. Of course, there's always a few of those early in the season so who knows.

I think the takeaway here is that if the Bucs play you straight up then pass all day. Only run if they do what they did against the Chiefs in the SB.

I started watching at the 2nd quarter, was surprised to find the game on... my understanding from someone at this website Dallas was going to forfeit

Very entertaining game.
- Dallas passing attack is extremely good
- Bucs run defense extremely good
- Brady still has it at 44 years of age... unbelievable
- Brady being Brady at the end of the game

But, they forced TB into 4 turnovers and played a lot better in the 2nd half after allowing 21 points in the 1st half.

Different games will have different run/pass ratios and Zeke was great tonight. Not a lot of runs but his pass protection was elite. He must have picked up 6 or 7 blitzers to give Dak time

I thought it was a good game for both teams.

Let me play devils advocate. TB is lucky Godwins drops and "potential" no OPI wasn't called. Or that would've changed the game. Combined that with the Zurlien misses.

TB is a great team. But I think if you asked them, and they responded honestly...they'd say they got lucky.
