Yeah, the Lakers size is like the Rockets speed...you can't replicate it in practice, so you actually have to experience it before you can adjust to it.

Spo will come up with some schemes to deal better with the Lakers size. They'll probably use more zone and you'll probably see more of Olynyk. He's not a great player, but he's a big body that can bang a little and has some offense.

But as you said, how much the Heat can do will be determined by how severe those injuries are.

Also, I thought the Heat did a pretty good job of making the Lakers play half court offense, which should have slowed the Lakers down. Problem was, they started hitting 3's and Miami went cold for a stretch that seemed to last from when they built the 13 point lead all the way to the start of the 4th quarter.

I know the Lakers defense was a big part of that, but the Heat also missed quite a few open looks during that time as well.

We aren’t even really talking about Butler.

he is going to play for sure. But he probably isn’t anywhere close to 100%

How do da rulz work around here? Can I now say the playoffs are rigged since my team's no longer playing?

Definitely rigged.

Clearly Dragic, Bam and Butler are in on it since they are all faking injuries now.

LOL.

Respect. you're being real with it...

No other way to be.
I'm not saying I'm 'just happy to be here', and get swept, but once all the dust settles, win or lose, this has been one hell of a season for the Heat.
Lakers have been the best team all season. Lakers have the 2 best players in the series.
Heat needs intangibles to fall they're way to have a chance. I don't want to see anyone injured, but I figured it would take an AD injury to have a real chance to win 4/7.

I kinda feel bad for the Heat because of Bam and Dragic's injuries. If they're out for game 2 I don't see them standing a chance in winning.

And if the Lakers are up 2-0 in the series, it's pretty much over even if it was a fully healthy team.

I just want a game but if Bam and Goran are out for more than a game, that becomes unlikely

Yeah the injuries took the excitement out of what I thought was going to be a helluva series.

I'm fairly sure Lakers fans don't have a problem with three straight 30 point blowouts in their favor

Yeah, I just assume that Jimmy will be out there even if he has to play in a wheelchair.

So apparently Dragic has a torn plantar fascia. Big blow for this series. Silver lining for Miami is that this may enable them to bring him back for one year at a discount price.
They havent ruled him out and some think Bam will play, but Im not sure what that opinion is based on

He is doubtful but that is beyond the point. He is very limited if he does play. I dont see much hope, he could give spurts

Yeah, I think the wiser decision would be to keep him out and let him heal naturally and not risk further injury - they are not going to win any way

It was over anyway before those injuries - The Heat stopped scoring because the Lakers played better defense.

lol you do realize a team in the finals is not going to think "they're not going to win anyway"

If the heat walked around thinking that way then a team like the Bucks would have made quick work of them
