Every player had the choice of certain statements they could have on the back of their jerseys.

I still think it's risky considering hopefully getting new eyeballs who won't know the guys

Find it hard to believe people pay attention to the back of jerseys previously because the announcers are constantly telling you who's who but of course since it is the NBA, people will all of sudden act like they care so much

At most it will be on the players jerseys for 2 weeks. I do know it will be gone in the playoffs. I think it may be for the first week but could be wrong. It is a really minor issue.

I never cared about the name on back of the jersey even in sports where I don't know most players....that's the point of announcers
