yeah i agree. I just dont see gronk coming back. he had ortho issues coming out of college. He has left the door open, but the dude finally can wake up and not be in pain.I'd say I agree, especially if he has no toys to work with. That's why he's taken the discount previously.
But if Gronk came back.....

There are 10 QB unrestricted free agents. Will they stay or will they go elsewhere?
Tom Brady, Patriots: Stays with Pats, who have no succession plan in place. Gets a 2 year deal and the Pats look to draft or trade for a quality backup.
Eli Manning, Giants: I think Eli's done. No one wants to pay that kind of $$ for a backup.
Phillip Rivers, Chargers: He's probably done. Maybe goes to the Bears or Bengals as a backup.
Drew Brees, Saints: Stays with the Saints. Its clear Taysom Hill is the succession plan. Bridgewater traded for draft picks.
Teddy Bridgewater, Saints: Pick of the litter. Giants, Steelers, Bears, Bengals, Redskins, Jaguars, Bucs, Panthers, Chargers, Dolphins could all go after him.
Dak Prescott, Cowboys: Stays with Cowboys, wants Russell Wilson level money. JJ has to pay him.
Marcus Mariotta, Titans: Stays as a backup or could be traded to be a backup elsewhere, like the Jets?
Ryan Tannehill, Titans: Stays with Titans as a starter, gets a raise.
Jameis Winston, Bucs: Way too erratic. Would be surprised if Bucs try to keep him. I think he may go to the Giants, Jets or Redskins as a backup.
Case Keenum, Redskins: Goes somewhere as a backup. Who'd want him?
True. But people are paying him to be on tv, for now at least. Worse have been on tv. He's still a draw. All true.
But the only thing he's good at is football.
He may realize that.

The guy has no shortage of confidence. I'll give him that. Not sure if he has the smarts to be a good QB though.Saints' Taysom Hill on 2020 free agency: 'I definitely view myself as a franchise quarterback'
so hill thinks hes a franchise qb. The saints "claim" hes the successor, but when brees goes down, its all bridgewater this year.
Hill is also 29 years old
Gronk doesn't have a huge ass so he'll likely not do similar.
Jags don’t need a QB. The Stache is the NFL MVP next year...book it.
