It’s strange how both the Bears who traded picks away for Mack and the Rams who traded picks away for Ramsey and others both now look screwed for the next couple of years.
The Rams loaded up with talent and only look average. Maybe they need a new head coach.

It appears like Gurley is the engine of that offense and without a healthy TG they are just average. Goff especially looks like a bad signing.

#1 the Rams season is officially over. It started looking like they might miss the playoffs a few weeks ago but now it's official

#2 what the Ravens are doing recently is one of the more dominant stretches that I have ever seen. They are playing so well in All Phases of the game and just destroying everyone in their path

Question is, will they maintain this through January and be able to knock off the Patriots when it really matters?

Agreed. Let's see what Belichick ccomes up with in January before we crown them. But they are pretty amazing to watch for sure. The Ravens are the only real threat to the Pats in the conference, imo. With all the Lamar stuff, people aren't realizing just how good that defense is too. And with a lot of young faces.

LAR...another SB loser doesn't make the dance the following season....SB hangover is real.

BAL...are they peaking too soon? Can they sustain this for another 8 weeks?

Mostly agree. Especially the BAL DEF...I did not see this coming. I knew they would be stout up the middle as they always have been with Brandon Williams, but edge pressure and CB/S play has been off the charts good for a bunch of guys that we haven't seen.

I still think the seeding matters...if NE gets the 1, they end up with the 4 vs 5 winner and BAL will take on the 3 vs 6 winner....likely KC.

I will be somewhat surprised if KC can even get the 3 seed at this point. The Texans hold the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Chiefs.

I think it will be Buffalo at Kansas City and then whoever gets the number 6 seed will play at the Texans

Good point...I don't think HOU can win a road playoff game w/o Watt or Clowney. I like KC's OFC potential in these playoffs whether they end up in the 3 or 4 slot.

What is a gimmick about the way the Ravens play?

Smash mouth, run the ball down your throat is kinda gimmicky these days.

Going for it all the time on 4th down is cheating. Ravens giving themselves 25% more downs to get a first down. Unfair advantage over their opponent. Many coaches and fans disapprove.

Correction: 33% more downs. Even more unfair.

The balls might have been deflated too, think they did that to us a few years back

It has nothing to do with the fact that 25 other QB's have thrown for more yards or anything like that.

Goff - 212 yds passing

LJ - 169 yds passing

Is this the retarded point you were trying to make???

Imagine them going up against a Jason Garett-led team that is in the mode of settling for 3 points or a punt, whereas the Ravens are always playing for 7 points. 7>3. Very unfair.

He cracks me up. He also gave himself a 3-year window for Lamar to get hurt, so he can come back on here and say he was right about him.

Running QB is still generally a gimmick in today's NFL. It seems like a great idea until you realize your most important player is getting hit twenty times a game.
