What a brilliant post.

I agree... it's the reason the site owner pays me for my genius comments.

Lamar Jackson running like he does (taking hits) is not sustainable. He'll be injured soon and the fact all the analysts are stupidly hyping him up like he's the next HOF QB is ridiculous. His passing is terrible (he does not go through progressions and does the stupid flick throw), so once he loses his legs that's it. Game over.

I'm not going to argue speculation, but thanks for the input (no matter how clueless you sound).

How clueless I sound? Most run first QBs or one that take hits like Lamar Jackson (with his size, he's not a LBer build like Cam Newton... who is injured) don't last long in the NFL. You sound like the one in denial and clueless. I wouldn't be too happy/optimistic if my QB was running as often and like Lamar Jackson is doing, with a fairly mediocre passing game (also mostly setup by his legs).

The Ravens' ass kicking of Seattle was two weeks ago. Time to move on dude. It's not healthy to hold on to that shit.

Yep... your defense played great and made some big plays that helped the Ravens to win (which won the game... two defensive TDs). Lamar Jackson did fuck all until the final moments when his legs were the only thing moving your offense... the same thing I'm saying isn't gonna last.

Grats on that win... I'd argue it's your time to move on from defending Lamar Jackson like he's going to stay healthy or do anything relevant in the playoffs.

He could get hurt no doubt but he's smarter when he chooses to run unlike Cam or RGIII. He normally doesnt put himself (with his running) into harm's way.

More Nostradamus-like brilliance from you. Good stuff!

Yes he is. I just think Lamar is taking less than those 2. Those 2 are run FIRST QBs. The slightest "change" they take off. Jackson waits longer and then goes if need be

Because he's staring down receivers because he's a terrible passer. Lamar is on pace for nearly 200 carries this season. That's simply not sustainable for a guy of his size. And he 100% takes some big hits from guys weighing anywhere from 50-100 lbs more. I 100% applaud him for that competitive play and taking those hits to put his team in a winning position, but it comes at a major cost.

End of day, he's a 'look at the first option and then take off' QB. He'll be injured soon enough and the Ravens will be looking to draft a new QB.

Possibly. I do see him getting hurt as you know one team will be pissed at him running all over him and in garbage time take a cheap shot at him

Tell us, oh wise one, when exactly that will be.

If he keeps running like he is and taking hits? I'd say at some point within a couple years.

Lamar must be taking these brutal hits while making 3-4 guys miss and breaking ankles when he runs :heh:
