One tea is middle of the road size wise but 199.5 avg weight is pretty big: Vegas
One team small speedy and skilled: Tampa Bay

I definitely agree with that. I think they can certainly improve their chances at winning a cup in the next 1-2 years with free agency, smaller deals, smart deadline moves and player progression, but I think their BEST chances are still 2-3 years down the road.

They're going to be some fun teams though. If G, Coots, and Jake bring it again next year, Simmonds returns to form, and the young guys keep progressing, they're going to be one hell of a tough out in the playoffs.

I think if the right moves are made in the offseason, then guys like Konecny, Patrick, Provorov, Lindblom, Hagg, Sanheim and Myers take the next step forward in their development, we could challenge for the division title as soon as next season.

That will make getting past round one a lot easier.

The last time we made the finals, Michael Leighton had 13 starts throughout our postseason run. The guy is a career minor league player. I'm not worried about goaltending with two mediocre goalies now and Carter Hart on the way.

If our team in front of the net is good enough, we will overcome it.

When Provorov is injured to the point of not having feeling in his arm, we aren't beating the Pens in game six.

Things could've gone a different way otherwise. We had that game in the bag up 4-2. Also, the fact that the Caps were finally able to beat the Pens is a credit to how much we wore them down physically in round one.

Lou is like friggin 90 years old by now. WTF doesn't he just retire and enjoy life? I had a dream that Tavares will be signing with the Flyers this offseason and that the FLyers will also make a deal for an impact dman? I think you know where I'm going with this...

If they do all that I would be freakin estatic as I'm sure most others would be. How would that not put us out there as contenders? Even with a healthy Elliott we could contend and Hope Hart makes some good progress this season.
