Also got one out to @obxyankeefan involving some of the same pieces. Open to counters if you wanna tinker.

I will look at it later tonight.

Also I should know this I think but...can I add people right now? No right?

No FA are closed until the draft. D1 just voted to open them next off season and we will probably have a vote along the same lines once we get everyone back.

I turned it down with my reasons up there. I will admit that I had to consider a number of things with that trade, but the pieces just didn't fit for me.

Yea I didnt really think you were gonna go for that one. You dont need the main piece I was offering so it didnt really fit but figured why the hell not lol you seemed intrigued by the trade offers :noidea:
Never hurts, to throw something out for consideration.

If this proposal is what I think it is, I don't like it.
Maybe I need more info on how it will work?
But Barilko and I are outside and away from a computer most of the day.
I can't speak for him but if we opened up FA in the off season, I'd feel I'd be at a serious disadvantage if news broke on a player and I was as late as 30 minutes getting wind of it.
Just saying.

If it happens I'll deal with it.
Just voicing my displeasure.
I go through this during the season if players get hurt or called up.

What we voted on was to open it up ONLY in the time period between the NFL draft and the MBBBRL rookie draft, not for the entire off season, and it does include a waiver period to start.
I totally see both sides in the deal, but to me, everyone is coming back around to football mode around the real draft, we're prepping our draft boards, researching who we'll pick.. So opening up the wire, for that small window, doesn't give a live and breath dynasty 24/7 guy an advantage over anyone else

Thanks for the clarification.
So then what am I supposed to waste my draft picks on - worthless rookies?

kinda like the FAs being locked up until the draft - adds an extra element of strategy on how you use your draft picks and who's situations you are evaluating leading up to the draft

Roll the dice on the unknown or take the chance on a vet that might still have some juice left in the tank???

No smart phone Joe? That's really all you need to keep abreast of happenings in the FF world. I doubt anyone carries his computer to work here. As for work computers, ours is a slug, blocks tons of sites, carefully monitors usuage and sends out a memo to be signed saying no personal use of the internet or you well get penalized upto being discharged. Shoot my smart phone works way better anyhow.

He has a computer, so why not a smart phone? You know think ten years ago, told the wife ( after her telling me to get a laptop) I don’t need no stinking computer.:pound:
Then I finally broke down and bought one, wow a lot has changed since then.

Wait.

Off season pickups are not allowed? Is that for real? Pretty sure they were last season

Sure I have a smart phone.
But my time to check news etc is very very very very limited.
Technically I shouldn't even be on it.
