What the Hell happen here. Why would he take a step backwards. Wow. Im shocked right now. This is a big loss for ND. He made great improvements in 1 year. This is not good. I cant wait to hear what happen.

I soooo wish & wonder if we could poach Joe Aranda from LSU.

I always thought Kelly was really passing up a chance when he didn't get his bid in for this guy before he moved from Wisky. LSU got a steal, IMO.

I think it's the fact that they are paying him 2 million dollars a year. I can't fault the guy for taking a huge pay raise even if Texas A&M isn't the same level as Notre Dame from a prestige stand point.

What kind of DC is A&M getting? I didn't follow ND football all that close. Just looking at the scores, it looks like outside of Wake, Miami, and Stanford the defense was pretty dang good? I have heard he is a good recruiter but don't really know anything about him or his defense? What is his base defense.

I don't mean to offend by coming to the ND board, just wanted to get a little info from ND fans.

I'm not an ND fan, but Elko was the DC @ Wake Forest for three years before he got the job at Notre Dame.
