Willie Calhoun expresses disappointment over Rangers' decision not to call him up

Minor-league slugger Willie Calhoun admitted to the Austin American-Statesman that he was let down by the Texas Rangers' decision not to add him to the major-league roster for the final month of the regular season.

"It's disappointing," Calhoun told theStatesman. "I put myself in the best position to get called up and to not get the reward... that kind of (stinks). A tough pill to swallow, but it's baseball business -- or whatever."

As of right now, I have no ill feelings about him expressing how he feels. To speak frankly, and in this case, pretty fairly, is acceptable to me. In fact, if it were you, wouldn't you feel similar?

But like DT said, hope this doesn't indicate he's going to be a problem child in the dugout/club house every time something doesn't go his way.

From the club perspective, I'm thinking I wouldn't have called him up either.
