Know what? I'm with ya. And I have no reason to feel this way, after all, the numbers don't support this.

Regardless, it sure appeared the Jays wanted us and not the Yankees so lets give em something to truly regret.

I don't get why either. The jays must know we have the second best record in the AL after the all star break ( Jays have the best). The only reasons I can come up with is that they don't want to play the Yankees in the first round ( divisional foe) or they would rather face us now instead of a 7 game series. I would have been fine playing them in the ALCS, but don't like seeing them this early, if their offense gets on a roll it could be a very short series.

might be the 3 lefty's and Lewis's ability to throw the HR ball on occasion.

Nothing would be better than to thump these guys from the playoffs

Hey Murph, congratulations on winning the DMN Bloggerheads Fantasy Baseball Championship this year.

Thanks Bennie, that was a pretty hard fought roto league victory! Just about went down to the last couple days.

Yes, it was. I had a horrible year this year myself. There have been some very close finishes over the years. I remember one year I won because Longoria hit that late HR to put the Rays into the postseason. I think that was just about the last game to be finished on the last day of the season and I needed that HR to win it for me.

I have an inking Perez will start. Regardless of Toronto mashing lefties, the thought is to have SP with best stuff in. Colby is a sentimental favorite and has more guts then most on team but when Perez is on he is guy more likely to shut a team down. He gets flustered easily though. Hope they does not come back to bite.

That was a crazy home run if I remember correctly they was a rope to the corner that barely made it out. Is that right? All games were going at once, a memorable time.

How do you feel about Hamilton's starting in LF?

I'm ok with it, I guess. I just want them to beat David Price. I hate how good he is against the Rangers.

Hamilton will likely do something that Rangers' fans will hate, but let's hope not.

Didn't we beat him twice in the post season already?

I believe so. The game we lost to him beyond the regular season was when we had a playoff to see who the 2nd wildcard team was. So that technically was not postseason. If I remember it correctly.

I would agree with you on how well Perez is pitching but I would not want to start him in Toronto as he is young and the crowd will be crazy there. Not sure how that would be as far as his first exposure to the post season whereas if he was at home there is that comfort level and crowd behind you instead of against you.

He'd definitely start at home if he was given a start. He's been much better at home this year.

You would think baseball would care that no one watches their playoff games....they have them on premium cable channels starting at 11:45 central. You really expect casual fans to watch morning baseball playoff games on premium cable networks that they don't have? You're fucking retarded Manfred. This is why the NFL kicks your ass. You have to get these on basic cable during primetime hours.

Although I get all the networks as part of my package, I completely understand and agree with you.

It seems absurd to me that they are falling into the "take the money and run" mode by not allowing more people to few the playoffs.
