i am most likely to be absolutely dead wrong about KC and the skins EVER reaching a contract agreement , yet despite long odds i believe it will happen because that makes the most sense for the team short and long term

you can resign him , market value , with guarantees for the 1st 3 years of the contract . our cap can easily handle it , then you simply draft a qb in the next draft at the right spot without costly trades in terms of draft capitol

you groom him and if you hit it right you cut KC loose , if KC is a superbowl caliber qb then you have that too

1. Some people will say it should be the non exclusive tag and we should deal him because it was really the talent we put around him

2. The same people will say we did the right thing because Kirk hadnt REALLY proved he was worth the money, and now what he is asking for is way too much and we just need to draft a QB.

I know said this in another thread but he simply may be past wanting to play here.
Like any job, once your BOSS creates a toxic work environment or allowed the underbosses to mistreat you --
and other offers arise in the same field that pay better -- what would you do?
Not paying Kirk that 16per was one of the dumbest moves in the Snyder era.
I even realize, with how the cap jumps they could have put more talent around the QB every year with such a low hit. Hopefully, they figure something out long term with Kirk and the LG/C position either gets upgrade or play improves
