WTF IS GOING ON

This team is playing with ZERO heart. I know its early but we said the same thing last year.

I dont see Lavi and or Homer lasting with this.


3 goals in 3 games in pathetic,


This team has no depth anymore.

Rosehill? Hall? Rinaldo? Talbot? They all suck

Okay....couple of things....
1. I agree that I don't know that both Homer and Lavy can survive this kind of a start if it continues.
2. The team actually does have some depth. If playing the correct system with these players it could work. When trying to play the "system" that Lavy is "running" it does not work.
3. I would take a roll of stick tape and a decent skate sharpener for Mez.

All of that said, I don't know what is the correct direction to go, but I will tell you that the way things are going is not it. Lavy is not reacting in games the way he did in his first season and a half. Homer is not stocking the team with players who play Lavy's system.

All of that said, when Lavy is on his game he is a good coach. With the correct lineup he could/has been successful. Something is clearly going on off the ice when you look at how this team is responding. The way they are simply NOT playing any real system.

I can foresee changes if the Flyers don't turn things around in the next couple of games. I can easily see either Lavy or Homer or both being unemployed in by Thanksgiving.

I don't think it 'a just depth, the top line isn't doing anything either. I have a great deal of respect for Peter Laviolette as a person & as a coach but it does appear as if he's lost his team.

i don't think Lavy is as bad of a coach as the GM and him are at communicating. Not more than 3 players on this team especially on the defensive side play a game that works for his system. either way i'd like to get a coach in here than can get the most out of what i think is a talented roster.

The timing, chemistry and decision making of most all of the players is way off. Laviolette should have zero excuse for it though as this is predominantly a group of players that have been together for at least two seasons, in some cases a lot longer.

...Sorry.. totally agree with this. Lavie can coach. And you have a few very talented players, but Homer has filled the garage with monster trucks and asked Lavie to win a NASCAR race with them. He had some guys that DID play Lav's system, but Homer sent them off... where they raised a banner in LA.

I also like Lavy,but he clearly has lost the team.IMO they have made some bad draft choices in the past few years.

They need a whole "new" system.This all out gun and run,might work if you're actually scoring goals(which they aren't),but they have too many forwards that have no idea how to backcheck.
