I'll always take the win. You adjust your roster and call up your best minor league pitcher if you had to burn another of your starters in the 18 innings.

I guess it could depend on where you are in the standings and who you play. But I'm always inclined to take the guaranteed win.

You have to take the win. At the end of every season if you are trying to make the playoffs it seems like every game counts and considering if you dont win your division you will end up playing a nonsense 1 game playoff elimination.
