Would you do this trade even if Gio Bernard is hurt?

I like Ellington more than most. Wouldnt make a deal for Gio. But I cut Walker this past week.

Who are your other RBs? Going to have AE miss a week soon, so that missed week could be this one if you swung the deal. I wouldn't do this though. Thomas has some nonexistent weeks too.

Hmmm... I think Gio will miss Week 11, too, and I think Hill is a better fir for Hue Jackson's approach in Cincy. I'd rather have six or seven weeks of Ellington than four or five weeks of Gio (who I think will be about like Shane Vereen when he's back).

On the other hand, Julius can carry your team on the right week. If I had depth at RB I'd do it (but who has depth at RB this year?).

I have lacy at rb2 and my other RBs on the bench are taliaferro and Ryan Matthews after his bye week

Ellington by a lot over Gio, and Thomas over Walker by a similar margin. This deal depends on whether or not you have the RB. Depth to absorb it.

Ellington is getting the 2nd most touches in the league right now, right behind Murray.

The ceiling is way too high for this guy.

personally the lack of hill working his way in besides injury makes me think they go back to gio, and ppl forget hill was at like 13 for 39 yards before busting a big one...........

Gio all the way. When he plays he puts up lots of points. He will be back next week. Maybe try and send over lacey?

But Gio was 23 for 62 yards over his last two games. And if you take away his long run he's only got 3.3 YPC on the season.

he does have matthews to help out, he is back and should be taking the lead role

Lacey/Matthews seems good for a week until he hits Gio/Lacey, all while he has a top TE, just personal opinion i guess

It's not a crazy deal at all. I think both Hill and Gio are likely to be startable, but neither of them will carry a team the way Gio did early. I probably wouldn't do it myself, but it's very close.
